Careers & clinical training

Join the team we're building.

Shades of Insight Therapy is a Maryland practice — in person in Laurel and virtual statewide — built for women of color, led by a Black woman, Ph.D.-level, board-approved clinical supervisor. We're growing the team and the next generation of clinicians who serve our community. If you're licensed (or getting there) and this is the population you're called to serve, read on.

Who thrives here

Genuinely called to this work.

We serve women of color, and we're looking for clinicians who are genuinely called to this work — not just filling a caseload. If that's you, we want to hear from you.

Application

Tell us about you.

A few quick questions to help us understand where you'd fit — takes about five minutes.

3. Are you licensed in Maryland specifically?
4. Are you committed to serving women of color as your primary population?
5. Are you comfortable providing telehealth services?

For example: perinatal/postpartum, trauma, anxiety, relationships.

A Google Drive, Dropbox, or LinkedIn link works fine.

We review every application personally and follow up by email — usually within a week.
